Lauren Burt

Des Moines-based Kemin Industries Inc. has hired Lauren Burt as the company’s global communications manager. Burt, who previously was manager of corporate communications for Meredith Corp., will be responsible for managing all external global corporate communications for the human and animal health company. She will also oversee key sponsorships and community engagement initiatives both nationally and internationally. Prior to Meredith, she was director of media and marketing at the Greater Des Moines Partnership, a public relations account executive at the Integer Group and a communications staff member for Gov. Chet Culver. She is a graduate of Iowa State University.
