Aviva USA and Mayo Clinic have found that financial situation is the primary factor for stress in men, according to a survey released yesterday.

Results from the survey mirror a report released last month by the two organizations that showed the same is true for women. The survey found that two out of three men are stressed, and 34 percent of them reported their financial situation as a leading factor.

The study also found a correlation between stress and high levels of weight gain and that 25 percent of men rarely or never exercise.

Aviva and Mayo Clinic recommended that men get more active and visit the doctor more often, citing findings that men are more likely to wait longer to go to the doctor than women.
