Up to $298,750 will be made available for Grimes to assist in the construction of approximately 662 feet of Gateway Drive and turn-lane modifications, a traffic signal and early warning signals for the intersection of South 11th Street and Iowa 141, Gov. Chet Culver announced today. The completed improvement, which was approved as part of the Revitalize Iowa’s Sound Economy (RISE) by the Iowa Transportation Commission, will provide access to four lots totaling almost 17 acres for industrial and office park development. RISE funding comes as part of the I-JOBS initiative, and is to be used for projects that promote economic development in the state.

Sauer-Danfoss Inc. reported a net loss of $70.8 million, or $1.46 per share, for the third quarter of fiscal 2009, compared to net income of $10.9 million, or 22 cents per share, for the same period a year ago. Net sales for the quarter declined 48 percent to $253.1 million, compared with net sales of $490.2 million for the third quarter of 2008. See the full report.

Google plans to buy $730 million worth of shares in AdMob, a company that provides display advertising technology for mobile Internet sites, CNNMoney.com reported Monday.
