The Iowa Wind Energy Association’s annual conference will be April 9-11 at the Iowa Events Center, with the theme Iowa Wind Power: A Model for America. The conference will feature information sessions and 60 industry exhibitors, including a General Electric wind turbine blade from the TPI Composites plant in Newton. A reception for Iowa lawmakers will be held in the evening of April 9. Gov. Terry Branstad and the Iowa congressional delegation have been invited. Denise Bode, CEO of the American Wind Energy Association, will provide a keynote address on April 10.
