The national tour of “Stomp” and Des Moines Performing Arts have partnered with Food Bank of Iowa to address food insecurity in Central Iowa. “Stomp” attendees can purchase virtual food drive bundles to receive a promo code for a $15 discount per ticket to opening night of the Broadway show on June 20. “Stomp,” which features dance and musical performances with unexpected instruments, runs at the Des Moines Civic Center through June 23. Donations to Food Bank of Iowa will help purchase some of the most needed food items for area pantry partners. “We are proud to work with Food Bank of Iowa to help ‘STOMP out Hunger’ this summer,” said Catherine Major, marketing director for “Stomp,” in a news release. “We work to connect with food charities as we travel across the country year-round.”
