The event will be held at Bright Grandview Golf Course, located at 2401 E. 29th Street in Des Moines, with registration starting at 8 a.m. and a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Registration is open and early bird prices are available until June 24. Proceeds from the event will benefit Iowa Juneteenth. Iowa Juneteenth was founded in 1990 by Gary Lawson, and Des Moines nonprofit the Des Moines Urban Experience received custodianship of Iowa Juneteenth in October 2015, according to its website.
