Winnebago to lay off 196 in northern Iowa

According to Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act data released today, Winnebago Industries plans to layoff 196 people from its Iowa operation. Effective June 13, 128 people in Forest City, 30 people in Lake Mills, 20 people in Charles City and 18 in Waverly will lose their jobs. Winnebago announced a layoff of 33 people in late 2024. Company representatives did not immediately respond to a request for more information.
