The shift aims to allow both organizations to focus on different goals as Landwerx is looking to scale nationally, while Landus continues to focus on Iowa farmers, according to a news release. Since launching Landwerx has collaborated with Landus to develop and test solutions that aim to address challenges faced by Iowa farmers. The solutions include the Innovation Connector space and SkyScout, an aerial scouting program using drones and advanced imaging to provide real-time insights on crop health and field conditions. Landus and Landwerx remain aligned in mission and values and collaborate where shared goals intersect to support a “farmer-focused agriculture future,” the release said.
