Ninety-five percent of that ridership comes from DART’s fixed bus routes. Over the 11 days of the 2025 Iowa State Fair, DART provided more than 263,000 shuttle rides, breaking single day ridership records. “We are pleased to see demand for our service continue to grow across the metro,” Amanda Wanke, DART CEO, said in a prepared statement. “Each trip on DART benefits everyone in our region, getting workers to jobs, shoppers to stores, people to health care and students to schools. DART connects people to places that keep our local economy moving.”
