Meredith Corp. to sell Meredith Xcelerated Marketing to Accenture

The announcement follows Meredith’s recent acquisition of Time Inc. MXM employs more than 450 people across the U.S. and Canada, including 75 in Des Moines. In addition to Des Moines, the acquisition will expand Accenture Interactive’s studio locations in key U.S. markets including, Dallas, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C., the company said in a release. Accenture Interactive is a division of New York-based Accenture, a global professional services company that provides a broad range of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations, with clients in more than 120 countries. Financial terms of the transaction, which is expected to close within 60 days, were not disclosed.
