A new green office building is in the works for Des Moines.

Jeff Stickel of Stickel Chiropractic Clinic PC is planning a $1.6 million, three-story commercial building at 2925 Ingersoll Ave.

The office building will have an estimated 14,000 square feet of space. The building will use precast concrete, thicker glass for its windows and polysteel for its frame.

Stickel plans to move his practice into one of the three floors. The building is scheduled to be completed next year.
