A spirited look at Iowa’s brightest thinkers
Last year we chose the late sculptor Barry Flanagan’s sculpture “Thinker on a Rock,” which resides in the John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park, to be the symbol for our series on Iowa’s entrepreneurs. The sculpture is a play on Auguste Rodin’s “The Thinker” (1902) and served as our inspiration to look more closely at the diverse and varying thinkers in our own community.
Throughout the past year we featured a wide range of Iowa’s entrepreneurs – serial, male, female, young, old, experienced and those first dipping their toes into the entrepreneurial life. Each told a unique story and shared lessons with us all.
Our goal? Unveil the lives of Iowa’s entrepreneurs and give you a regular glimpse into the challenges they each face.
We’re back again this year with a set of four new entrepreneurs, and more to follow in the coming weeks …
