AARP names Larry Kudej Iowa volunteer state president

In collaboration with AARP Iowa State Director Brad Anderson, Kudej is tasked with leading the association’s executive council in advocating for the well-being of the AARP’s 328,000 members in Iowa. Kudej is a retired federal attorney with a tenure at the United States Attorney’s Office. “Larry has decades of experience working on AARP’s priority issues, and we are thrilled he will lead the council in our efforts to enhance the lives of all Iowans through advocacy, education and engagement,” Anderson said in a prepared statement.
