The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) released its 2011 legislative agenda on Monday.

The ABI’s agenda is focused on job creation, fiscal responsibility, tax policy and regulatory reform.

The group’s legislative priorities are established through an in-depth grassroots committee process of more than 600 individuals working through five specialized committees, according to an ABI news release.

“Our members want to see refocused efforts at the Department of Economic Development to promote those things about Iowa’s business climate that make us attractive to job creators,” said ABI President Mike Ralston in a news release.
