The Des Moines nonprofit Above + Beyond Cancer will be hosting its annual Evening of Inspiration on May 9 from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom, organizers announced this week.

The Des Moines nonprofit Above + Beyond Cancer will be hosting its annual Evening of Inspiration on May 9 from 7 to 8 p.m. via Zoom, organizers announced this week. Tickets are available online. The event will be hosted by WHO-TV anchor Sonya Heitshusen and will include the launch of the book “Above and Beyond Cancer,” a two-year project published by Drake Community Press. Scholarships are available to attend the event, by emailing Executive Director Chris Goodale for the application process.
