ADM close on deal with China
Archer-Daniels-Midland Co. is poised to sign an agreement to sell 180,000 metric tons of soybeans to a Chinese food and supplement manufacturer, according to the Quad-City Times.
The Decatur, Ill.-based company announced the pending deal Thursday on the eve of the beginning of an eight-day trade mission to China headed by Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn.
