By Degrees Foundation, a Des Moines-based education nonprofit, announced it received another $100,000 grant from Archer-Daniels-Midland Co., a food processing company. The contribution was given through ADM Cares, ADM’s corporate social investment program. “The continued investment from ADM Cares helps us significantly increase our reach and develop even more impactful programing for the 2,500 students at our partner schools,” Ken McCullum, By Degrees Foundation board chair, said in a news release. “This past school year, support from ADM Cares provided healthy food and snacks for Findley Elementary students, supported family financial literacy and career days, as well as provided lunch for all teachers during teacher appreciation week at Findley Elementary, Harding Middle School and North High School.”
