The former Members Financial Services has announced a name change to Veridian Financial Advisors, along with a newly expanded menu of services. The firm has offered investments, retirement planning and 401(k) rollovers for more than 20 years from select Veridian Credit Union branches across Iowa, including Ankeny and West Des Moines. Veridian Financial Advisors will continue to operate from those locations and add trust services to its list of offerings, the firm said in a release. Veridian Financial Advisors’ services are offered through an agreement between the credit union and CUNA Brokerage Services Inc., an affiliate of CUNA Mutual Group. The new name more clearly conveys the financial adviser firm’s relationship with Veridian Credit Union, said Michael Osgood, a financial adviser with the firm.
