Affiliates Management Co., the holding company of the Iowa Credit Union League, this week helped the Iowa Credit Union Foundation kick off its 25th anniversary year with a donation of $250,000 in support of ICUF’s philanthropic mission. Launched in 1995, ICUF works to help people and communities achieve financial well-being. ICUF also serves as a hub for credit union philanthropy, assisting credit unions with supporting members in need. Since its inception, ICUF has distributed more than $2 million in asset-building programs, $700,000 in disaster grant assistance and $400,000 in scholarships and training for credit unions and their members.The foundation’s goal this year is to award a record number of grants and scholarships and increase its impact through the launch of new programs and initiatives that benefit Iowans in financial need.
