Agricultural Research Service chief to speak at Iowa Youth Institute
The Iowa Youth Institute will feature a keynote address by the administrator of the U.S. Agricultural Research Service, Chavonda Jacobs-Young. The event will be April 30 at Iowa State University. ARS is part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The World Food Prize Iowa Youth Institute has engaged over 1,000 students from more than 225 schools across the state. Since 2011, 54 percent of Iowa schools have participated.
