Allegiant starts new nonstop flight from D.M. to California, will soon add a Florida flight
Des Moines Register: Allegiant Air will offer nonstop flights from Des Moines to Palm Springs, Calif., starting Nov. 18. The sunny destination becomes the 17th nonstop route the budget airline offers from Iowa’s capital city. Allegiant will fly to Palm Springs International Airport on Thursdays and Sundays. It plans to add nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Oct. 6.
