Alliant’s Cedar Rapids branch in the Alliant Tower and its Dubuque branch at MercyOne will permanently close, but ATMs will remain open at both locations. The credit union, which has about 11,000 members and $135 million in assets, will continue serving members from its three remaining Iowa and two Wisconsin branches. With more members choosing to do their banking online, fewer members are visiting brick-and-mortar locations and the credit union has focused more heavily on its electronic banking services, ACU President Mike Moroney said in a press release.
