It will plant at least half of the trees in Iowa, representing each customer it serves, officials said. Iowans will first see the utility’s efforts in the state’s urban areas, a welcome investment in Cedar Rapids and other cities and towns rebuilding tree canopies decimated by the derecho that ripped through the state last August.
