Alliant Energy has announced the early 2019 retirement of 26-year veteran Douglas Kopp, who was president of the utility’s Iowa operations and a senior vice president. Alliant also made several new appointments: 

• Terry Kouba, president of Iowa Power and Light Co. and Alliant senior vice president. Kouba replaces Kopp as head of the Iowa operations.
  
• John O. Larsen, president and COO of Alliant Energy and CEO of Interstate Power and Light Co. and Wisconsin Power and Light Co. 
  
• David de Leon, president, Wisconsin Power and Light Co., and Alliant senior vice president. 
  

Patricia Kampling will remain chairman and CEO.
