Amazon donates money to Bondurant-Farrar school district, food bank
Amazon Inc. has donated $15,000 to the Bondurant-Farrar School District that is being used for technology that supports teaching and learning, a staff appreciation lunch, and the district’s Pack a Backpack program that provides backpacks full of school supplies that students need while attending school from home during COVID-19. The retail giant has also donated $5,000 to the Bondurant Food Bank. Amazon, which opened a fulfillment center in December in Bondurant, was named the 2020 Big Business of the Year by the community’s Chamber of Commerce.
