The American Heart Association Des Moines office recognized Scott Seeliger, a community relations professional, as the 2021 Judy Willis Volunteer of the Year during the annual Heart of Greater Des Moines Heart Ball in June. The award is given to a member of the community who demonstrates a relentless commitment to creating a world of longer, healthier lives. Seeliger has volunteered with the American Heart Association for four years, and helped secure the first and only Hands-Only CPR Kiosk in Iowa, located outside Scheels at Jordan Creek Parkway to teach the community lifesaving skills.
