The American Lung Association-Iowa is inviting Iowa businesses to learn about the benefits of a comprehensive tobacco- and nicotine-free workplace. The association’s staff will host a live webinar on March 31 at 1 p.m. to outline free technical assistance it can provide to employers on all aspects of tobacco-free policies, in addition to support for employees to quit tobacco. Through implementation of a tobacco-free policy, employers can expect improved health for employees and reduced employer costs. The live 45-minute webinar will include a Q&A session.
