Ankeny Chamber of Commerce to host Celebrate Ankeny in place of SummerFest
After postponing the annual Ankeny SummerFest to 2021, the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce is returning some of the annual event through the monthlong Celebrate Ankeny, a series of socially distant events to bring back vendors and other hallmarks of SummerFest. Celebrate Ankeny will feature a fireworks show on July 11, and attendees can watch from their vehicle’s parking spot at the SummerFest grounds. The first Taste of Ankeny SummerFest night to support annual vendors will be July 9. A full list of events is available online.
