The World Food Prize Foundation announced that registration for the 15th Annual Iowa Hunger Summit is now open. Shifting from the traditional date, the free, daylong event will take place on Sept. 1 in a completely virtual setting rather than during the annual World Food Prize week of events in October. The 2021 Summit will focus on transformations within food systems and the changes needed to end hunger and food insecurity in the state. The virtual dialogue will offer the opportunity for all participants to engage in the discussion, and aim to generate ideas for providing access to healthy food for all. For more information and to register for the free event, visit www.iowahungersummit.org/register.
