Antiques store buys old Dahl’s supermarket
A vacant former Dahl’s Foods store in West Des Moines is getting a new tenant, The Des Moines Register reports. The Picker Knows, an antique and collectibles retail store and auction house, is expected to open this summer. Dahl’s Foods Inc. closed the West Des Moines store along with locations in Ankeny and Ames last year shortly before the company filed for bankruptcy in early November.
