The application period to participate in the Prairie Meadows Community Outreach Program is open until April 20. The program will take place during the Des Moines Arts Festival. It offers nonprofit organizations the opportunity to participate at the three-day festival to share their mission, work and projects with thousands of guests free of charge. Because of support from Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino, participation is free. In exchange for free promotional space, each selected organization offers an interactive arts-related activity for guests to enjoy in the Creative Zone at the festival.
