The Ankeny Leadership Institute is accepting applications for the 2015-2016 Leadership Class through Aug. 1. The objectives of the Ankeny Leadership Institute include helping participants understand the various aspects that make up the Ankeny community, recognizing and demonstrating the principles of exemplary leadership, expanding and diversifying each participant’s professional network, and introducing various leadership opportunities in the community. Each leadership class is limited to 25 participants. Interested applicants can find more details and the program application online. The institute is a partnership between the city of Ankeny, the Ankeny Area Chamber of Commerce and the Ankeny Economic Development Corp.
