Architectural Foundation offers classes on Chicago architecture

The class will provide an introduction to the historic, midcentury, and current periods and their architects. Instructor Edward Shannon, a former docent for the Chicago Architectural Foundation, will share useful travel tips. Classes start Jan. 16 and continue on Jan. 23 and Jan. 30 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Iowa Center for Architecture in Capital Square. The cost is $54.
