Iowa architecture firms were recently recognized at the American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter’s (AIA Iowa) Annual Awards Celebration, which was held virtually. The celebration was held in conjunction with the 2020 AIA Iowa & AIA Central States Region Virtual Convention.

The following are the winners in the various categories:

AIA Iowa Excellence in Craft Awards

• AIA Iowa Craft Award Merit – Studio Melee (Des Moines) for the redesign of the Dickey & Campbell Law Offices.
• AIA Iowa Craft Award Honor – Neumann Monson Architects (Iowa City) for design of Urban Fence. 
• AIA Iowa Craft Award Honor – Architectural Wall (Ames) for the Iowa State University Student Innovation Center.
