Art bus unveiling postponed to Dec. 11

87 wordsAll Latest News, Arts and Culture, TransportationThe unveiling of the latest art bus has been postponed until 11 a.m. Dec. 11 because of the death of longtime Drake University icon Paul Morrison. The event, which had been scheduled for Wednesday, is sponsored by Drake, the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority and the Greater Des Moines Public Art Foundation. The art bus unveiling will follow a short ceremony in Drake’s Olmsted Center. The bus will feature the artwork of Benjamin Gardner, associate professor and department chair of art and design at Drake.
