Operation Downtown, in partnership with the Greater Des Moines Partnership, and real estate firm Knapp Properties are seeking artists to create a three-dimensional art piece on the south wall of the Fourth Street and Court Avenue parking garage. The goal of the project is to add additional lighting to the walking path in a creative way. The organizations are requesting quotes from artists or artist teams by Jan. 28. Preference is given to projects that include both a three-dimensional art piece and sufficient lighting within the $35,000 budget. Learn more about the submission process here.
