Armstrong-based Art’s Way Manufacturing Co. Inc. has released results for the three- and ninth-month periods ending Aug. 31.

• Net sales for the three months ended Aug. 31 were $11.5 million, a 24.7 percent increase over the same period in 2011.
• Operating income for the quarter was $1.6 million, an 11.8 percent increase over the year-ago period.
• Net sales for the nine months ended Aug. 31 were $29.5 million, a 35.7 percent increase over the same period last year.
• Net income for the nine months ended Aug. 31 was $2.1 million, a 155.3 percent increase over the same period last year.
