As COVID cases rise, major Des Moines employers push back return-to-office plans
Des Moines Register: With COVID-19 cases surging and new federal regulations in flux, some of Des Moines’ biggest employers have pushed back return-to-office plans. Wells Fargo & Co. has indefinitely delayed its return plans, and Dotdash Meredith executives told workers to expect to come back Feb. 14 — six weeks after its previous target date. The latest delays continue to stress the downtown Des Moines economy, as shops and restaurants have limped along without the usual lunchtime and post-work crowds for almost two years now.
