54 wordsAg & Environment, All Latest NewsEmerald ash borers, an invasive species working its way across Iowa, have been confirmed in Clearfield in Taylor County and west of Carroll. The pests kills trees by chewing under the bark, in effect cutting off their food supply. They have been found in 57 of Iowa’s 99 counties, and in 31 other states.
