At his age, Herrick is a top remodeler
Lucas Herrick, owner of Modern Touches LLC in Urbandale, has been named to Professional Remodeler magazine’s 40 Under 40, marking the third consecutive year a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Des Moines has made the list, according to a release. Herrick, 34, was chosen this year after creating an offshoot of his remodeling company in 2015. His Remodeling Design focuses on current clients while also attracting business from do-it-yourselfers, homeowners looking to define a project’s budget and contractors who don’t handle design work in-house. Marc Black of Silent Rivers Design + Build was named to magazine’s 40 Under 40 list in 2015, and Zak Fleming of Fleming Construction LLC was recognized in 2014.
