Six Quad City area women – all leaders in their professions – have been named as the 2015 Athena Awards honorees.

In a news release last week, The Women’s Connection and Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce announced the honorees and the 2015 Male Champions of Change honorees.

The Athena honorees are:

• Nancy Hayes, St. Ambrose University.
• Ida Johnson, United Neighbors Inc.
• Jodie Kavensky, NormaLeah Ovarian Cancer Foundation.
• Natalie Linville-Mass, Media Link Inc.
• Kathleen Repass, Henry County Economic Development Partnership.
• Kathy Wine, River Action.

The recipients of the 2015 Male Champions of Change Award are:

• Todd Hopkins, Lujack Lexus of the Quad Cities.
• Douglas Hultquist, QCR Holdings Inc.
• Steve McCann, McGladrey LLP.
• Rob Woodall, Alcoa Inc.

All nine Quad City area leaders will be honored at the 2015 Athena Event on March 12. The luncheon will be held at noon at Jumer’s Casino & Hotel in Rock Island, Ill.
