75 wordsAll Latest News, Law & GovernmentAttorney General Tom Miller has joined 17 other attorneys general, six cities and the U.S. Conference of Mayors in a lawsuit aiming to block the federal government from demanding citizenship information in the 2020 census. They fear the requirement would decrease participation, which would mean less federal funding for education, infrastructure, Medicaid and other programs. “We believe everyone should be counted. Adding a citizenship question would undermine participation and accuracy,” Miller said in a statement.
