About: The U.S. Small Business Administration and AARP will host two free franchising workshops in West Des Moines and Urbandale for prospective small-business owners.The workshops will focus on the ins and outs of opening a franchise, the necessary research to determine the best franchise option, and the facts and fiction of the franchisor/franchisee relationship. The events are free, but registration is required.
When: 9 to 10:30 a.m. and noon to 1 p.m.
Where: Urbandale Chamber of Commerce and West Des Moines Council Chambers
