Aureon, a managed IT provider based in Des Moines, has acquired cloud and managed IT clients from Havelock, Iowa-based Northwest Communications Inc., a subsidiary of Northwest Communications Cooperative Association. The transfer of commercial clients took place on Jan. 31. This move is part of Aureon’s growth strategy in the Midwest, according to a press release. The acquired clients will have access to Aureon services like firewall, security, data backup and server management.
