Bank offers educational show for middle schoolers
Bank of the West is bringing a financial education program called “Mad About Money” to McCombs Middle School, 201 County Line Road., and Hiatt Middle School, 1214 E. 15th St., on Nov. 11.
Actors from the National Theatre for Children will perform live improvisational sketches intended to educate students about smart uses of cash, credit, savings and investing.
Thomas Gronstal, Iowa superintendent of banking, will be a special guest at the Hiatt Middle School performances, which will take place next Thursday at 12:45 and 1:45 p.m. The McCombs performance is at 8:30 a.m.
