BankIowa planning new branch in Marion

86 wordsAll Latest News, Banking & Finance, Iowa NewsIndependence-based BankIowa plans to open a full-service branch in mid-2020 in Marion, the Corridor Business Journal reported. The new BankIowa office was approved by the Iowa Division of Banking on Nov. 27. The rapidly growing Tower Terrace Road corridor is expected to become a major east-west artery through the Cedar Rapids metro area when a new I-380 interchange opens in Hiawatha and missing segments are filled in. BankIowa currently has 11 branches in seven eastern Iowa communities: Cedar Falls, Cedar Rapids, Independence, Jesup, Lamont, Norway and Waterloo.
