Baruthio to open new Windsor Heights restaurant
David Baruthio, who owns three local restaurants, will open another eatery in the former Mustard’s restaurant a block away from his Baru 66, reports Wini Moranville in dsm’s weekly e-newsletter this morning. Baruthio plans a bar-grill called Saison featuring casual, seasonal Continental cuisine. He is partnering with Mike Crownover, former co-owner of Lurra Cocina, which closed in downtown Des Moines earlier this summer.
