Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa has hired Nancy Muecke as the organization’s new CEO. Her first day will be July 7. Muecke comes to Big Brothers Big Sisters from Ellsworth Community College, where she worked as provost. She has mentored youth, formally and informally, since her senior year of high school, most recently as a court-appointed special advocate. Muecke also held positions at colleges in Laramie, Wyo., and Sioux City. She is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa and lives in Ankeny.
