Biotechnology association to host research forum
The Iowa Biotechnology Association will host a free forum Oct. 17-18 highlighting the opportunities for commercializing research conducted by the Agricultural Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The event, “Partnering for Growth: A Forum for Public-Private Collaboration,” will be held at the FFA Enrichment Center, 1055 S.W. Prairie Trail Parkway, adjacent to the Des Moines Area Community College campus in Ankeny. Representatives from the state’s public universities will also be on hand to discuss opportunities for developing business relationships. Participating companies will also be encouraged to bring new innovative products and processes to showcase.
