Blackbird investments is lining up partners as it considers whether to take on all or part of the renovation of the former Younkers building, part of which has been renamed the Wilkins Building. Blackbird said in an email attributed to partner Ryan Doyle that Neumann-Monson Architects is assisting with the due diligence phase of the project and The Weitz Co. has put the project out to bid with the goal of obtaining reliable numbers by mid-June.
